Stockman Products have designed the perfect lightweight trailer for the adventurer who needs that extra carrying capacity.
The Pod Trailer, with it's jerrycan holders, bike racks and most importantly sealed storage compartment, we knew this was the trailer for our next big trek!
For a test run, we ventured into the Grampians for a camping weekend. Everything for that big trek was taken with us. 25kg Turbo tent, camping gear, camera equipment, generator and all the recovery equipment needed if things got rough. The trailer was driven over a number of corrugated tracks, which it handled well. The weight in the trailer was ample in maintaing a stable presence on the dirt tracks. On road it was hardly noticed and drive on the highways was a breeze. I have always been reluctent to carry dead weight on the back of a vehicle, but the Pod trailers lightweight and robust construction has given me confidence on those long drives. accesories are plentiful, including a water tank and easy to use axillery pump. The main feature ofcourse is the sealed pod section that shown on the test run that it really works in keeping the dust out. This is a great design which has freed up much space in the expedition vehicle.
Rust Proof tub. Made of 6 to 8mm UV stable polyethylene. The same tuff plastic as used in Wheel barrows, Ute liners and water tanks.
Heavy duty Galvanized chassis you can leave it outside and not worry about the floor rusting out!
