Earth Trek 09 was an adventure into the heart of Northern Queensland to discover the natural history wonders of this unique land. We were to travel back to the Australian Age of Dinosaurs and discovery a piece of natural history that dates back 98 million years ago. An adventure to the edge of the great Simpson desert where a dune by the name of Big Red was in hot favour by the many 4-wheel drive tours on their migration to Birdsville. The final destination on the ET 09 map, the Wet tropics of the far north and an insight into the plight of the Southern Cassowary.
